Our organization 'Green Sail' 'Green Sail' Nizhny Novgorod children and youth environmental organization 'Green Sail' is a non-governmental association. The founders are the children from a youth club of Nizhegorodski district of Nizhny Novgorod. It has been active since 1986. Since that time it has grown up from a small circle of technical hobby in the House of Science into a large association which deals with wide environmental activities among the teens and children of Nizhny Novgorod and province. Currently the organizations has 600 members from 8 till 25 years of age. Since 1997 it has been publishing own newspaper. Green Sail exist since 1986 year as hobby group of biocybernetics and bionics attached to Scientist's House, since 1992 year it exist as School of ecological culture attached to administration of education of Nizhnegorodsky district. In current time organization include more than 600 members in age from 10 to 18 years old. Since 1997 year is publishing it's own newspaper, since 1999 year Green Sail is publishing the newspaper also in electronic form in the Internet. Financial support in different years was realizing by row of foreign beneficent founds and local environmental structures. Directions of activity: Ecological education with using modern information technologys and active conservation and research activities; Computer education with familiarization editors program complexes; Editors activities - publishing newspaper 'Green Sail' in papery and electronic(Internet) variants, publishing collections of kid's creative works; Organizing regional conferences of ecological groups, which are, engaged active research and protection of nature. Creation net of ecological groups of Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhnegorodsky region; Realization conservation projects 'Primroses', 'Protecting of animals', 'Fir', 'New Year bouquet'; Realization ecological camps - regional and international; Participation in realization international collaboration of kids and teenagers in solution of problems ecological education and protection environment.
